Separate utility math: Electricity, source water, sewer, and RO/DI waste behave differently. Keeping them separate makes it easier to see whether power draw, water changes, or mixing supplies are driving the monthly total.
Use measured watts when possible: Heater and pump labels are useful starting points, but a plug-in energy meter or controller log gives a better real monthly estimate after room temperature and duty cycle are included.
